Why do I expect anything better?
The Grammys pretty much sucked AGAIN. The only great performances were Pink and the Black Eyed Peas. Lady Gaga should not be paired with Elton. Yes, they are both incredibly fabulous people but that doesn’t mean they sound good together. Godga does not need anyone but herself on that stage. And this Ke$ha girl? She just looks tragic… I <3 two of her tracks but I’d rather not...

Oops.
I didn’t do a post for yesterday. That’s because I was skiing with some awesome people in 10-degree weather. So enjoy this post and a forth-coming photograph.

it’s finally time for a haircut. Nothing drastic though! I still need some length to keep warm.

2010 US Olympic Team
Ladies: Rachael Flatt and Mirai Nagasu Rachael turned in two solid programs and got more credit for the long. I really enjoyed her clean short and was surprised to see her in 3rd. Skating to “Sing, Sing, Sing,” she possessed a ton of charisma and was very fun to watch. Her long (Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini) was a little less exciting but very classic and again, solid jumps. Mirai...

Skiing until 2am is the bomb like tick...tick.
Skiing (in Northeast Ohio, at least) is like an amusement park. Not because there are hills but because you probably wait in line longer than you ski. I would looooooove to go to New York or something where it take you longer to go down the hill than the ride to the top. Definitely one of my life goals.

Got no direction... just got my vamp. ...Ok, not...
Ugh. This newly adopted insomniatic sleep schedule MUST end by Monday. Well…. not really since my first class that day is 6:15pm. But Tuesday, yes, it must end. All from skating 3+ sessions a day, which is a huge change from scooping up my slumbering ass to go do one session every day (if that) over break. SO worth it though… both the trip and the slumbering so much over break....

Unfinished Business.
Yesterday when I was done writing my entry for the day, I realized that what I wrote was, of course, not everything I intended. One big part of the day I didn’t document was the fact that yet once more, about three and a half months after Mom died, my dad and I found ourselves crying in church. This time, my dad had actually started it. My eyes welled up earlier when “Ave Maria”...

Hello 2010. Here is my resolution.
So today in church, I realized I don’t have a New Year’s resolution. I’m never one to make resolutions or stick to them, but I’ve always wanted to have some sort of journal where I can put my thoughts for the day. I have quite a few books where I’ve written 2 or 3 pages and the rest is blank… I think this will be a much greener method of that. So my New...
